A Humanoids Summit panel on human-humanoid interaction, space robotics, and the future of useful humanoid robot systems.
I joined the Humanoids Summit 2024 panel “Human-Humanoid Dynamics in Space and Beyond” at the Computer History Museum.
The discussion focused on human-humanoid interaction, space robotics, and what it takes to build humanoid systems that can operate usefully around people in real-world environments.
This panel connected directly to themes from my earlier work on NASA’s Robonaut 2: human-robot cooperation, constrained operational environments, safety, autonomy, and the long path from impressive robotic capability to useful deployed systems.
